We have had to make some changes to our Arrivals and Departures due to the COVID outbreak.  These changes are for your safety and also the safety of our cleaning staff.

Prior to arrival you MUST message me to confirm that none of the guests due to stay has any symptoms of COVID-19.  All of the key touch points in the caravan, including the key and keysafe, door handles, light switches etc have all been sanitised prior to your arrival.  Beds are made up for you, please be assured the highest cleaning standards have been adhered to while we the caravan for guests to arrive.  In the cupboard under the sink there is cleaning products for you to use, new dishcloths, sponges, kitchen sprays and washing up liquid.  There is also Carex handwash at every sink.

It is very important that these guidelines are followed on departure:

  1. Strip all bedding off the beds and place in the red bag provided (if for any reason this is not provided please use a black bag from under the sink) any bed wetting issues MUST be reported as early as possible to enable appropriate cleaning, please bag any soiled or wet bedding separately.

  2. Open windows prior to leaving to let fresh air circulate.

  3. Please dispose of all rubbish at the nearby refuse area.

  4. Please ensure you have taken all of your belongings, as they cannot be returned to you at the present time.

  5. Please remember to lock the door and return the key to the keysafe.

In the lounge area there is a 42-inch TV with Amazon Firestick with Netflix, Britbox and XCIPTV App installed, this allows access to all premium channels including live sports, movies, catch up TV and box sets , these are all logged into the my own family subscriptions and so are free for guests to watch, please do not change any settings on the accounts to keep them running smoothly!  There is Free WiFi, the router is located in the corner of the lounge on the TV unit and the password is on the bottom (90370181).  There is a SKY + HD box which only has free channels to watch, but still allows recording for those favorite shows while you're out and about!

The Sky remote also controls the TV, just press the TV button and on to switch the TV on.

To use the Firestick you should be on HDMI 2

To use the Sky + HD box you should be on HDMI 1

To switch between these press TV and help on the sky remote then select the HDMI selection you require

There is an electric log burner effect fire in the lounge.  Please do not use the heat function on this unless abosultely necessary (i.e no gas and awaiting a new bottle being fitted).  The central heating is quick to heat the caravan up and keeps it toasty warm!  Please feel free to use the timer function on the boiler to save having the heating on when out for the day but warm the caravan up nicely for your return.

The kitchen is well equipped for all your needs during your stay, I am sure you will find most things you will need in the cupboards and drawers.  Tea, coffee and sugar individual sachets are always left for guests, there is always a stock of cooking oil, sauces condiments etc in the cupboard beside the microwave, we were unable to leave these last season due to COVID regulations, but for this season I have purchased them to give guests the option of using them if they wish to!  There is a stock of cleaning essentials in the cupboard under the sink, dish cloths, sponges, kitchen spray, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid can always be found there.

Also in the kitchen you will find a full size gas cooker, integrated full size fridge freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and also a microwave and toaster.

The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed.  It has a double wardrobe and plenty of cupboards and drawers for storage.  There is a 32-inch with Freeview and hairdryer etc in the dressing table drawers for your use.  There is also an en-suite WC with wash basin.  There is also a baby chair that is freestanding at a low level or can be strapped to a dining chair and travel cot kept in the wardrobe if required, this will fit in the master bedroom with you if preferred.  If these are used during your stay, please clean them following use and leave out for my cleaner to then sanitise.

There are 2 x twin bedrooms both with wall mounted 22-inch TV and Freeview, they have a single wardrobe in each and one of the rooms has a retro Sega games system with 40 pre-installed retro games.

In the dining area you will find a freestanding dining table with 4 chairs.  Perfect for family meals!  Please use the placemats provided to keep the table looking nice.  There is also a utility cupboard.

Not really what you want to think about on your holidays!  But here to help you all the same!

You will find a hoover in the master bedroom, a dustpan and brush and iron in the cupboard under the sink and bin bags, tin foil etc can usually be found in the kitchen drawer.  The sweeping brush and mop and bucket can be found in the utility cupboard next to the fridge, this is also where you can find the combi-boiler and can control the temperature of the hot water and radiators.  If you do run out of gas, the display will usually display F1, all you need to do is contact reception or the out of hours security number to have this replaced, they will ask to come when you are in the caravan so you can sign for safe receipt of the gas bottle and check the boiler is working again for you.  The numbers for this are in the useful information section of this book as well as on the front of the utility cupboard for easy access.

Please turn off the central heating on your departure from the caravan – if left on there may be a fuel surcharge, as the caravan may not necessarily be checked on the same day depending on further guest arrivals following your stay.

There is an ironing board under one of the twin beds, also a highchair and travel cot for use during your stay.  If used, please give the highchair and cot a clean and leave out to be sanitised.

We have plug-in air fresheners throughout the caravan to keep it smelling fresh, if you don’t like them please do not remove them, simply switch them off at the socket and this will prevent them from working.

There is patio furniture on the decking area to enjoy and also a further table with 4 chairs to the side of the caravan.

We have a strict no smoking policy in our caravan, we are non-smokers and ask that our guests respect our wish to keep our caravan some free, this also includes the decking area.

If you do smoke, we would be grateful if you could do so outside of the caravan with the doors closed, there is a table and chairs to the side of the caravan that can be used and please dispose of all cigarette ends.  Please note: If any evidence of smoking in the caravan is identified on departure, your security deposit will not be refunded.

The closest tram stop is Broadwater, turn right out of the park and straight across at the roundabout, past the Nautical College and you will ser the tram stop on your left, alternatively hop on the 14 bus as described above.

Fares are really reasonable for a family! You can get a family day pass for all trams and buses for 24 hours for just £12, it really is great value and saves finding and paying for a parking space in Blackpool!
